Senior Accountant

Location: Cincinnati, OH

For our client DSI Dantech, a large global player within industrial freezing solutions, we are searching for a Senior Accountant to their office in Cincinnati, Ohio.

​

DSI Dantech, are looking for a skilled and self-driven Senior Accountant to support financial operations for their U.S. and Canadian entities. This is your opportunity to take on a high-responsibility role where your expertise will directly support local leadership and global reporting. You will be a vital member of the global finance team, and work hands-on with all aspects of accounting, compliance, and financial reporting together with your finance colleague in Cincinnati. You will report to the Group Finance Manager in the HQ in Denmark.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting to HQ

• Ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements in collaboration with external auditors and legal advisors.

• Handle accounts payable, financial transactions, and bank reconciliations

• Conduct performance evaluations and identify future improvements

• Act as a proactive and insightful financial business partner to the local General Manager and leadership team

• Serve as local superuser for ERP, expense management, and time-tracking systems

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance

• Strong understanding of U.S. and ideally Canadian accounting and tax standards

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently

• Experience from a small to mid-sized company - preferably reporting to a foreign parent company

• Strong Excel skills and the ability to quickly learn and optimize financial systems
